Mental Game Scorecard

This Privacy Policy explains how Paul Monahan Coaching and Consulting, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Mental Game Scorecard app (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name and email address so you can sign in and so we can associate your data with your account.

Performance data you enter

The App stores the golf and mental performance data you create, including your rounds, scores, and Heroes vs. Bandits mental game entries, along with your in-app settings and preferences. This data is stored on your device and synced to our backend (Convex) so it is available across your sessions.

Subscription information

Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes your payment, so we do not receive or store your credit card or payment details. We record your subscription status (active, expired, tier) so we can provide the features you have paid for.

Coach connections

If you connect to a coach using a coach code, that coach can view the performance data associated with your account so they can support your development. You control this connection and can revoke it at any time from within the App.

Error and diagnostic data

We use Sentry to detect and fix crashes and errors. This diagnostic data is configured to exclude personal identifiers such as your email address.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and sync the App’s features across your devices
• To authenticate you and secure your account
• To deliver the subscription features you purchase
• To enable coach and player connections that you initiate
• To diagnose problems and improve reliability

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How Your Information Is Shared

We share information only with the service providers that make the App work, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Clerk for account authentication
• Convex for secure storage and syncing of your data
• Apple for subscription processing through the App Store
• Sentry for crash and error reporting
• Coaches you connect to, only when you choose to connect using a coach code

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your associated data is removed from our systems. Some information may persist briefly in backups before it is fully purged.

Your Choices and Rights

• Access and edit your data directly within the App
• Delete your account at any time from within the App, which removes your associated data
• Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings
• Revoke coach connections at any time in the App

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures and reputable service providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App.
